About

I launched this website as an enthusiastic supporter of the Wildflowers Music Park, not because of any financial interest or organizational role, but because I believe deeply in what this project can mean for Melrose, our neighbors, and our region. I am neither an investor nor a board member of Wildflowers Music Park. My involvement is simply that of a neighbor, resident, and community member who cares about our shared future.

From the very first mention of the park’s possibility, I began conducting my own due diligence. I’ve spoken directly with law enforcement officials in the communities where Wildflowers’ sister festivals have thrived for years, including Pittsboro, North Carolina (home of the Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival) and Trumansburg, New York (home of the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival). I’ve also reached out to local politicians, community leaders, and newspaper editors who have covered these events for decades. Their insight has been consistent: these festivals have strengthened their host communities, fostered civic pride, and spurred thoughtful, sustainable growth.

Long before any property was purchased here in Melrose, I met personally with members of the Wildflowers team. I asked difficult questions, reviewed their record, and listened to their plans. What I found was a group of experienced, community-minded professionals who genuinely care about being good neighbors and good stewards of the land they occupy.

After months of careful research and conversation, I am convinced that Wildflowers Music Park represents a net positive for our community and our region. It promises to preserve the natural beauty and spirit of Melrose while providing opportunities for cultural enrichment, local business development, and sustainable economic growth.

This website exists to share what I’ve learned, to answer questions, and to separate fact from rumor. My only goal is to help my fellow residents see what I have come to see, that Wildflowers Music Park isn’t just possible here, it’s the right fit for Melrose.
